“Just because you don’t take an interest in politics, doesn’t mean politics won’t take an interest in you.” — Pericles
Join architects across the state to understand how laws are made in Tennessee, discuss with our legislators important issues affecting the practice of architecture and most importantly represent the Profession on Tennessee’s Capitol Hill! New this year, we are having a joint legislative reception with Engineers and Contractors. The combined event will present a unified front to legislators relative to the development of legislation important to the design & construction industry in Tennessee.
We also encourage you to bring an Emerging Professional for them to learn the legislative process – we have a special rate just for Associates and EPs licensed less than two years.

In an election year, when activities in the Tennessee state legislature will be more concentrated and receive more attention from various constituencies, it is important for the design & construction industry in our state to make certain our collective voice is heard. To facilitate that process, AIA Tennessee is holding a new coordinated reception with ACEC of Tennessee (engineers), AGC of Tennessee and ABC of Tennessee (contractors). The combined effort will present a unified front to legislators relative to the development of legislation important to the design & construction industry in Tennessee.
