Architects Advocating for the Profession (AAP) Program
Join this ground-breaking program and ensure that your voice is heard at all levels of government.
Architects Advocating for the Profession (AAP) will connect its current activist base with architects at any stage of their career wishing to become more engaged in legislative activities.
Each mentor/apprentice team will build relationships with key legislators to ensure viewpoints from architects are represented and valued at the State Capitol.
Join the Legislative Action Network (LAN) or the AIA TN Government Relations Committee.
Do you want lead and influence the policy process? Sign up to participate in LAN.
As a LAN participant, you will be asked to reach out to federal or state legislators on behalf of AIA. By meeting and developing relationships with elected officials, you will become a trusted advisor that is able relay technical information regarding legislative issues important to the profession.
The AIA TN government relations committee and staff work to protect the profession and advocate on behalf of Tennessee architects. Trey Wheeler, AIA, is the Chairman of the Government Relations Committee. Sign up here if you are interested in serving on the committee.
