Registration is now closed. Please note that onsite registration will be available for our event, provided that there is still space available. We encourage early arrival to secure your spot, as space is limited and registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you there!
Through the theme of Grounding, the conference will explore both architecture’s physical relationship to material flows and resources within ecological systems as well as architecture’s intangible relationship to history, memory, and lesser-acknowledged cultural contexts. AIA TN’s conference committee is curating memorable experiences that you won’t want to miss. Mark your calendar and plan to join us as we gather to explore architecture from the ground up.

Bricks & Brews
Join AIA East Tennessee for Bricks and Brews – a one-night-only pop-up Brick Bar! Drink, connect, and play with LEGOs in a fun, no-pressure atmosphere at XUL Beer Company, one of Knoxville’s premier local breweries. For those who like a little competition, LEGO builds can be entered for judging in one of several fun categories. XUL is within walking, scooter, or ride-share distance of the convention, just past the Old City.
Tickets are $15, including two delicious drinks from XUL Beer Company (non-alcoholic drinks are available) and the chance to play with Legos! All proceeds will support AIA East Tennessee’s mission and programming.
If you want to attend for free, please bring a set of NEW Legos to the event. All Lego sets will be donated directly to East Tennessee’s Children’s Hospital.
