Build Community, One Brick at a Time
As you pack for the 2026 AIA Tennessee Conference on Architecture, consider making room for a few extra LEGO® bricks.
This year, AIA Tennessee and AIA Chattanooga are partnering to collect new and gently used LEGO sets and loose bricks to support educational programming for local students during the fall of 2026. These materials will be used in hands-on design activities that introduce young people to architecture, creativity, problem-solving, and the power of the built environment.
How You Can Help
Bring any of the following items with you to conference registration:
- New or gently used LEGO sets
- Loose LEGO bricks and building pieces
- LEGO baseplates and specialty pieces
A collection area will be available throughout the conference at the Westin Chattanooga.
Why LEGO?
Architecture begins with imagination. Through hands-on building exercises, students learn about design, teamwork, spatial thinking, and the impact architecture has on their communities. Your donation will help create engaging learning experiences that inspire the next generation of designers, architects, engineers, and creative thinkers.
Conference Challenge
Help us fill the collection bins and show the strength of Tennessee’s architecture community. Whether you bring a small bag of bricks or an entire set, every donation helps build opportunities for local students.
Thank you for supporting AIA Chattanooga’s outreach and educational programming. Together, we can make a lasting impact—one brick at a time.
Bring your LEGO donations to the AIA Tennessee Conference on Architecture | August 12–14, 2026 | Chattanooga, Tennessee
