AIA Tennessee has opened our Call for Entries for the 2023 Design Awards! All members of AIA Tennessee are eligible to enter a submission of a built project of the last five years for consideration. Submitted work will be judged in the following categories:
- · New Construction
- · Restoration/Renovation
- · Architecture Interior Design
Each project will be judged according to its own merit, how well it solves the problem addressed. Projects will not be judged in competition with each other, but by measuring the architect’s performance against each project’s potential. Awards will be given in two categories: Honor Awards and Merit Awards. Award recipients will be announced, and awards will be presented at the AIA Tennessee 2023 Conference on Architecture on August 3 in Memphis.
Please be aware that there are two stages to entering the Design Awards: submitting the entry form with payment by May 8, and electronically uploading your submission using the platform and code provided. Mark your calendars for the awards timeline:

- · May 8, 2023 – Entry Form and Related Fees Due
- · May 9, 2023 – Codes and Template Sent to Entrants
- · June 5, 2023 – Submission Deadline by 5:00pm (CST)
- · August 3, 2023 – Design Awards Presentation – Hyatt Centric, Memphis
