| The Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development began accepting “letter of intent” (LOI) for new HDGP projects on Friday, March 8 and the deadline to complete and submit the LOI is Monday, April 8, 2024. Projects need to be “ready to go” with plans and a budget in place! If the project outlined in the LOI is deemed eligible by the TN Historical Commission, an application will be sent to the entity. This process takes approximately one month. Please note: Funding from the “Lightning Round” is to disburse funds in this year’s budget. Due to budgetary cuts, at this time funding has not been proposed in next year’s budget for the HDGP.
