Josh and Jess Wright are the architects and founders of Machinations: Development, Architecture, Construction in Knoxville, Tennessee. They are architects who became frustrated with the standard architectural practice and built their business to develop, design, construct and sell their own projects. By using a unique to architects capital stack and keeping the entire process in-house, they are able to maintain both their design vision, quality control and profit margins.

In this seminar, Josh and Jess will walk you through how you can begin to do the same.

• Explain the inherent equity in an Architects generated Construction Documents internally and to a bank or loan representative.
• Create, evaluate and analyze a Proforma for internal use and explain said Proforma to a bank or loan representative.
• Analyze the current market factors and anticipate design decisions and options for final Construction Documents.
• Discuss lessons learned that are unique to the develop-design-construct process.
